Kim Nam-joon better known as "RM" (changed from Rap Monster), is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He is the leader and main rapper of the South Korean boy group BTS. Together with the members of BTS, he went on to win a series of awards and performed at several events such as the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).
He attended Global Cyber University and majored with honours in Broadcasting and Performing Art. He was among the top rankers in the national school exam and had a TOEIC score of over 900, which is commendable. He also has a very high IQ of 148.
According to him, rapping helped him get over the stress of his studies and the lyrics of his song, No More Dreams, was inspired by the days when he worked late into the night for his exams.
